The Mitchell family of Trevellas Manor Farm have been welcoming campers to their campsite, overlooking the sea, since 1927.
The large field, with pitches sited around the perimeter, is kept mown, giving plenty of room in the middle for recreation. There are beautiful views of the sea, St Agnes Beacon and surrounding countryside.
The pitches are large, over half of the pitches have 16amp electric hook ups and seven of the pitches are hardstandings the remainder are grass.
New facilities from 2017 include showers, toilets, hair dryers, family rooms with baby changing, disabled facilities as well as raised toilets available with grab handles in ladies' and gents' toilets, laundry facilities with washer and dryer, wash ups, wet suit wash and drying area, chemical toilet emptying point, all easily accessible within the site. The freezer will be unavailable for ice packs due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Booking is recommended, particularly if a hook up is required during school holidays. Situated close to the coastal footpath, there are many walks, straight from the site , both coastal and in the surrounding countryside.
It is a 10 minute walk down to dog friendly Trevellas Porth which has a small beach and extensive rock pools at low tide. The site is situated on the coast half way between St Agnes and Perranporth (both are about 2.5 miles by road) or you can reach each along the beautiful coastal path, St Agnes (30mins) and Perranporth (1hr).
