Following a Sat Nav

We strongly recommend you do not follow your Sat Nav as it will take you through miles of tiny lanes, some of them too narrow for anything but a small car without a roof box.

If you do want to use a Sat Nav, we recommend you set it for Perranporth and then redirect it for the campsite once in Perranporth. Please be aware that when you are within 100 yards of the site, it may direct you down a road to the right that goes to the beach. This is unsuitable for anything but a small car. Instead, keep driving straight on - the campsite is straight ahead of you and you should be able to see signs for Trevellas Manor Farm.

Heading west

on the A30

 (i.e. from Exeter in the direction of Bodmin/ Redruth)

The dual carriage way comes to an end at Carland Cross roundabout – Shell garage on left, wind turbines on right.

Continue straight on along the A30 in the direction of Redruth for 1.7 miles.

Turn right onto B3285 (heading towards Goonhavern and Perranporth).

Continue to Goonhavern 2.2 miles.

Turn left onto A3075, direction Redruth/Perranporth.

Continue to double mini roundabout.

Turn right onto B3285 at the double mini roundabout, following signs to Perranporth (2 miles).

At the mini roundabout, turn right to continue on along St Pirans Rd/B3285.

After the second zebra crossing turn right and then immediately left onto St George’s Hill/ B3285 direction St Agnes.

Continue straight on, up the hill passing St George’s Country House Hotel on left and the old Perranporth Airfield on the right.

At end of airfield, you will pass the village name sign ‘Trevellas’ (post box and telephone box on your left).

Take next right signposted Trevellas Porth /Crosscoombe with a brown caravan/camping sign.

Continue straight on. At 90 deg left hand bend continue straight ahead following blue Trevellas Manor Farm Campsite signs and signed for Crosscoombe.

Continue straight on to campsite which will be ahead of you – Please ignore your Sat Nav if it directs you to turn right down the restricted road to the beach.

Travelling from Penzance/ Redruth

The dual carriage way ends at Chiverton Roundabout. Take the 1st exit towards St Agnes.

At the mini roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B3277, signed St Agnes.

Continue on the B3277 passing Chiverton Arms pub on your right. Turn right approximately 0.3 miles from the mini roundabout signed towards Mithian.

Continue along Mithian Downs taking the second tarmac road on the left (approximately 1.6 miles).

Follow the road for about 0.7 miles to T junction with B3285. Turn right, up the hill in the direction of Perranporth.

Continue along the B3285 – go past Mithian school on your left – We strongly recommend you do not go down the narrow lane beside the school.

Pass the village sign ‘Trevellas’. Take the next turning on the left, by the Snooker Club and post box.

Pass the entrance to Perran View Holiday camp on your left. Continue straight on past Higher Trevellas Farm.

Take the next left, following the blue signs to Trevellas Manor Farm Campsite.

Continue straight on to campsite which will be ahead of you – Please ignore your Sat Nav if it directs you to turn right down the restricted road to the beach.

Please note

When arriving from this direction, we recommend you do not go through the village of St Agnes if large or towing.

Do not follow a Sat Nav that takes you via Wheal Kitty or Blue Hills – it is narrow, steep and has a height restriction - you are unlikely to get through!

When on the B3285, do not turn down the small lane beside Mithian School.
