During high season, we take bookings of four nights or more on sea view pitches and bookings of three nights or more on all other pitch types.
During low season, we take bookings of three nights or more on sea view pitches and bookings of two nights or more on all other pitch types.
Single night stays are available for the hiker pitch throughout the season (small 1-2 man tent – no vehicle, no electric).
If you want to place a booking for adjoining pitches, please contact us by email or phone. During high season, where adjacent pitches are required for a multiple pitch booking, the stay must be for seven nights or longer. Where stays are for a shorter period, it may not be possible to place you next to each other.
For all stays of three nights or fewer, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
During low season, for all stays of four nights or more, the balance will be due seven days before arrival. Bookings that commence within seven days of the date of booking, full payment is required at the time of booking. A deposit of 30% of the value of the booking will be required within 24 hours of booking.
During high season, for all stays of four nights or more, the balance will be due 28 days before arrival. Bookings that commence within 28 days of the date of booking, full payment is required at the time of booking. A deposit of 30% of the value of the booking will be required within 24 hours of booking.
The payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable unless we are unable to be open due to coronavirus restrictions.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for bad weather or early departure from the site.
We want you to enjoy your stay and be as comfortable as possible. If you have a disability and require a pitch close to the facilities, please let us know at the time of booking.
Children should be supervised at all times on site.
We allow up to three well behaved dogs per pitch (in low season, we may accept more by prior arrangement). We kindly request dogs to be kept on a lead in the camping field except when in the dog exercise area.
Please ask taxis to pick you up and drop you off outside the site.
We will be allowing limited numbers of day visitors for the 2024 season subject to prior arrangement with us. Day visitors will be asked to park in our yard and must not drive on to the field. Day visitors will be asked to depart the site by 9PM.
For campers with extra large tents (9 berth and over / 30 sq. metres and above), please check with us that your tent will fit onto a pitch at the time of booking to allow for space between yourselves and neighbouring pitches to comply with fire regulations.
To keep our campsite as safe as possible for our campers, we allow one car per pitch and this is included in the tariff. Additional parking is available close to the campsite entrance (£3 per additional car per day). In exceptionally wet circumstances, we may direct you where to park.
We aim to keep vehicle movement on site to a minimum. Pedestrians and particularly children have right of way at all times. Vehicles should be driven at a maximum of 5mph and in first gear when on site. We politely ask that you only drive your vehicle when arriving or returning to the site. We kindly request that you do not drive to or from the toilets/reception, or any time after dark. Please walk.
Only people holding a full licence may drive in the field. Learning to drive is not permitted.
We do not allow the use of generators on site.
